Tennis Movement Analysis
Turning a broadcast tennis feed into a top-view movement and heatmap analysis of both players.

Overview
A one-day computer-vision project inspired by the US Open final between Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud. A YOLO network detects both players in the broadcast feed and classifies them into their respective regions of the court.
Using planar homographies, the broadcast perspective is warped into a clean top-view of the court, where each player's position is plotted over time — turning a TV feed into a movement and density analysis of how the two players covered the court.
